NOW... I have 2 pieces of advice.
1, from someone who has been very sick/in pain to the point that I literally had no choice but to lie in bed... it is not the end of the world, life DOES go on and it is a great lesson for me to have learned that nothing is so urgent that it cannot wait if necessary, the world will NOT come crashing down if you have to just STOP. My household and children and all my other responsibilities were all tended to and I realized very clearly that it's not all up to me...
2, though... I would say in your case that you are SO CLOSE, if I understand correctly, and I'm not CERTAIN with IBS that you can assume you'll feel all that much better next go round (depressing, I know, but facts are facts here, we all know the ups and downs of how this works) so seeing that you have worked this hard and are so close, I would be inclined to try and boost your self confidence a bit, remind you that the light is there at the end of the tunnel and encourage you on to go ahead and get it DONE. Then you can still work on improving your portfolio, can't you, after graduating? I apologize I am not very informed on the way all that works.
Those are the 2 sides of the coin - if you literally have no choice, it WILL BE OKAY and LIFE WILL GO ON, but if you can manage it at all I think you'd feel a lot better if you went ahead and sort of "sucked it up" and got it OVER WITH.
((((((((((((((hugs))))))))) whatever you decide.. this is one of those things that is completely up to you.
-------------------- Take care,
Michelle
