My folks actually moved to the area we used to vacation in when I was a kid for that reason! DH and I lived in N. GA for a brief time and enjoyed the mountain vistas, but I've always been partial to North Carolina! There is just nothing like it! I'm thrilled that you were able to hike pain-free, and so thankful that you are blessed with such a sweet hubby.
