Hi Lyndsey!

I'm not really good at answering questions, but I'll do my best in relaying to you what I personally believe and have personally experienced...

I am 33 weeks pregnant, so a lot of this is still very current for me...

As for the morning sickness, everybody is different. I didn't get sick feeling until around my 6th week. Once it hit me, I was sick to my stomach every day from the moment I got up until I went to bed, but I only threw up 3 times. I've never heard of it meaning that there isn't enough hormone in your body, but I could be completely wrong on that. My biggest problem was smells... I couldn't tolerate pretty much anything that I was able to eat before getting pregnant. My suggestion... just try to relax about this part. Offen times, the anxiety associated with whether or not things are "normal" is worse.

From what I understand, it's ok to have sex at any time during a pregnancy unless instructed otherwise. Most women at your stage don't even know they're pregnant yet, so normal activites aren't usually given any thought. I'd say, if you're uncomfortable with it, then don't. However, if you feel up to it, then give it a try. You can always stop. Sex, whether it be in the form of intercourse or just cuddling, is very important to continue throughout your pregnancy... so what ever you're comfortable doing, you should do.

Have you picked up any books on pregnancy? If not, I would recommend doing so. I have 2... "The Pregnancy Bible" which has colorful photos of each week in your child's development as well as answers to almost every question you can think of. The other is "Your Pregnancy Week by Week", which is also very informative. I've also been told that "The Girlfriends Guide to Pregnancy" is excellent... it's informative with a little bit of a comedic twist.

I hope I've helped you at least a little. I'm really not that comfortable giving advice, because what works for me, may not necessarily work for you. It's really your own personal decision. You can always ask your physician if you have any concerns... they're usually very understanding when it comes to pregnancies.
