Depends. I am a month out of my surgery. It was done laproscopiclly. I thought it would be a breeze, but it is still surgery and they remove and re-aarange things in there. I have been able to go more, but I have had several other problems that have come about because of it. A large cyst was found near my bladder that was laying on a nerve preventing me from sleeping. I have had a drain tube in for over a week (comes on tomorrow)getting it smaller. I hope in six months time I will be glad that I did it. but right now, not so sure. But what can I do but go on. That is why I was looking for others to share what they had gone thru and my get some helpful advice.

If you are having trouble like I did, think about what you have gone thru so far and see if you can live like that. I would pursue more investigations. See want type of procedure they would do. I have 12" of large intestine left. Not as drastic as those that have the entire take out.

Please write back.

Kelly
