subtotal colectomy       07/23/05 05:19 PM Edit Reply Quote KellyIA Reged: 07/23/05 Posts: 5 Would like to share experiences with anyone who has had this procedure. Mine was done on June 27th. I was left with 12" of the large colon. I had this done because of very slow transit time and the unability to go. I took laxatives for 15 + years.
