It was Christmas time and I thought for sure we were going to get engaged as we had been talking about it alot.
My DH is a procrastinator when it comes to Christmas shopping so Christmas EVE he heades out the MY PRESENT! He is out for about an hour...then he returns and says "Well honey I know what i want to get you, but I don't know what size you are. Can I tell you what it is?" I blurt out "No way don't tell me - I'm a size six!!!"
So off he goes and comes back home - wraps a big box and sets it under the tree. Of course, I am postive it's a ring and he's trying to trick me!
So Christmas morning I burst out of bed and announce "Time to open gift honey - wake up wake up!"
So he gives me my gift and I open it to find the beautiful dress jacket I had my eye on!! The clincher....It's in a size 6 (I am a size 12 in clothes) so now I have a jacket that is too small and a ring that doesn't fit!!!!
I start bawling!!! He is so disappointed that I am disappointed that we got engaged on New Years. Bwhahah - which was actually just him handing me a ring and me saying YES!! I wanted the surprise but I just couldn't be patient enough so I ruined it for myself!!! LOL
