Talk to your vet about giving him hormones. These are actually female birth control pills, but they significantly reduce both the aggressiveness in male cats and (usually) the spraying as well. I had a male cat I had to do this with, and although it worked, it also made him a bit spacey and lethargic. It's going to be a trade off of behaviors.
There are also extreme surgical ways to correct this, but I doubt you'd want to go that far. Kandee
