I'm a 29 year old mother of two little boys whose IBS started up when my oldest son was about 6 months old. I suffered for about a year and a half and then it went into spontaneous remission until after my second son was born, and it's been with me ever since (baby is 18 months now). I'm ready to get my life back, dump some excess weight, and ger over fear of travel. I love to talk about the kids, and I have a great husband, even if he is getting frustrated with my gut condition. We used to go out of town and out to eat all the time. but my crazy gut put and end to most of that, and he misses it more than I do.
