When I moved, my new dentist asked if I wanted to try nitrous oxide (laughing gas) and I decided to check it out--it ROCKS!!! You feel like you have a really good buzz and couldn't care less about what they are doing to you, but you are awake. The great thing is that it wears off very quickly after they stop the gas, so you're back to normal in no time. The only downside is that my insurance doesn't cover the cost so my dentist charges about $30 for most procedures, ex. crowns. Print     Remind Me     Notify Moderator
