Hi Shell! I'd like to run something by you, since you're a super-smart and ultra-hip woman and might be able to help me out ...

For my sister's birthday next weekend, I'd like to take her out to have someone do her makeup for her and show her how to do it herself. She's never worn it, and to be honest I don't really know the first thing about it. She'll be 19, but she's mentally slow, and it takes her a while to pick up on things. So I want to take her somewhere that she can be comfortable and where no one will get impatient with her for not "getting it" right away. I'll probably get mine done too, and watch her's so I can re-teach her later if she needs it ... I'm not *too* concerned with cost at the moment, I'd rather this were a fun experience for her. She's expressed a lot of interest lately in being more "grown-up" and I think she'll enjoy it, unless she feels dumb.

Do you have any ideas where I could take her in the Seattle area? I live near Kent, so I could go either north or south of here, to Seattle or Tacoma ... Any help you could give would be so great! She's such a pretty girl and can be so nice, but she's got self-image issues, and I want to help her see how great she is. Thanks so much!

Love,
