Thanks everyone for the warm welcome! Sometimes I just need to talk about my problems candidly, and it's great to have some support.
I have a few friends that I can talk to about my problems, but sometimes they tend to find the 'humorous' side of IBS while I don't. That tends to piss me off a bit, because they can never really understand where I'm coming from.
Shell, didn't mean to get you teary-eyed.  Finding this site is the best thing to happen for many people. I mean, I'm a pessimist and all, but improvement of my condition gives me something to look forward to. (I still cheat a lot with my food, in fact I'm still regretting eating that bag of cookies yesterday!!  )
Beagle, I just chose this name because I couldn't think of anything better. I used to have an evil cat that would eat catnip and claw the living heck out of everying -- my rug, my furniture, me...
Hopefully I can give back some of the support that I've received from this site.
