What kind of things will you be doing with your computer? Are you looking for something easy vs. something cheap? What do you have now? What you want to do with your machine, and future upgrade plans should have the biggest impact on what you choose. Obviously companies like Dell can give you lots of customer support, but you might end up with more "stuff" in it than you need. If you're real familiar with the way a comp works, you could build one yourself, or have someone build one for you (my b/f can build them, minus case/monitor/mouse/keyboard for like $500 or something, and they're darn good gaming machines). Or there are in-between options. If you have any ideas what you'd like, I might be able to give you some more suggestions. Hope all is well!
