Irritable Bowel Syndrome Message Boards | Had to take a migraine pill today...

I felt like I was getting a migraine and then walked into my gyn doc's office -- and they're being PAINTED!!! I thought about leaving but I already rescheduled once and I was already there. So I did something new! Rather than wait until later when it really hit, I went ahead and took one of my migraine pills (Imitrex) right then and there. They can be taken sort of as a preventive sometimes, so I gave it a try. I can't do that too often or I'll run out (durn insurance companies only approve so many a month, which sounds to me like practicing medicine without a license -- how do they know better than my doctor when they haven't even examined me??!!)

Anyway, I'm annoyed and crabby about the whole thing from start to finish, but at least I only have a mild headache, not a splitting one, so I guess it worked. But that's only 4 days since the last one, which means I'm back to 2 a week instead of 1 a week. And just a few months ago I had it down to 1 a month. ^$#@)$@^)!^%%#&^_*@$!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
