Case in point, the jerks who work for my father's business. However, I'm finally laying down the law by ending my involvement with my father, financially. Been helping him earn the family income since I was 14 (I'll be 40 in April). And, these jerks are not only unappreciative of my efforts and sacrifice for my family, but are VERY disrespectful. Always getting into my personal life. WHO THE HELL NEEDS IT! Those little boys with their [expletive] big mouths...
So, I am going to get a overnight shift at a supermarket to make scheduling easy for my studies. It's sad that after all this time my father doesn't give me the credit and respect that I deserve, either Hmmmmmm, some retirement from the family business!
If it sounds like I am a bit bitter, perhaps that's true. Yet, I know there will be psychological fallout from this miserable experience (which has gotten very bad within the last five years). And, perhaps the trick is to take it to my Higher Power as I know that family would not be supportive or receptive. So, let them stand where they fall, so to speak.
Thanks for letting me share this.
Bob.
