Hi everybody, i'm a 31 years old french male starting is new bodybuilding diet and trying to respect carefully the principle of IBS diet... i've got both constipation and diarréas symptoms, and my biggest triggers are unsoluble fiber, fat and stress of course... i'm training for about 4 years now with the usually bodybuilding diet meaning tons of proteine and dairy product and lot of whole cereals... guess my IBS neverlike that...I've just loose 25 kilos in one year trying to shed lot of fat and get a nice muscle definition... I'm now weighing 89kilos for 1m88 and planning to go as low as needed to be shredded... so i need to find a good IBS diet capable of giving me good energy, enough proteine and small account of good lipids... i plan to stay beetween 1500 and 1800kcal per day...
i've just come home after buying my weekly foods so here is what i've got:
toasted bread with oat fiber rice (basmaty) pasta bananas green bean carrots beet thuna cans white chicken fatless ham eggs (i will only use whites) stewed fruits (apple, banana, plums) mint infusion carrot juice (supposed to be excellent for IBS for french doctor) olive oil
So basically here is my foods: no red meat, no dairy,no fat enough soluble fiber to avoid constipation but i really don't want to become gassy... some good protein choice with chicken tuna and eggs and good energy with rice pasta bananas etc...
i'm open to any advices and i will let you now what happens next...
little question, as intense sport like bodybuilding increase cortisol (stress hormone) any link to IBS?
