Well, my calves are sore... but it is well worth the pain!! I walked the Seattle Half Marathon (13.10 miles) with Liz, and Shane ran it. This was the second year I did it, but thank goodness, we had nicer weather this year...no snow or rain.
I don't have the "official time" for 2007, so this is based on my Garmen that I pushed the button on when I crossed over the start/finish line.
SHELL TIME: (walk)
2006 4 hours + 40 min = 21.37 minute mile
2007 4 hours + 26 min = 20.31 minute mile
SHANE TIME: (run)
2006 2 hours + 46 min = 12.67 minute mile
2007 2 hours + 49 min = 12.90 minute mile
So, I beat my time by about 14 mins... WWWoohhhooo!! My goal was to finish it in 4 hours + 10 min, but hey... I'll take shaving approx 1 min per mile off of last year, FOR NOW! 
Oh, and after the race.... Shane and I went and got spa pedicures ... guess what I wore????.... My new tech shirt that I got for doing the race!! IT FIT ME!! Almost everyone in the place commented to both Shane and I, how impressed they were that we had done it!!
Hey, I guess that is two NSV!!
