People sometimes post recipes asking for them to be made "IBS-Safe" and others will reply with suggested substitutions. For example, if you see a recipe with butter, most would use a margarine or dairy-free alternative.

Garlic and onions are not triggers (like red meat, dairy) but they can cause problems for people. If you find you are sensitive then you could simply not put it in the recipe, or use a small amount. Also, most recipes on the boards will have a fair amount of SF foods in it, so having the garlic and onions may be tolerable in that dish.
