hi everyone
one of the things that really gets me about ibs is tiredness... so was lying on the sofa today and decided I would do something to try and pick myself up- so came on here and made a plan to exercise. So I did 10 mins walking on the spot ( I was bringing my legs up quite high it's not as pathetic as it sounds -honest lol)
But the thing is afterwards I was feeling worried, my head seems to be hurting a bit and a bit of nausea too.
Is this normal? it's happened before the last time I started exercising too.
I think the worry stems from my anxious state in general and the worry that if I over exert myself I'll be ill
I don't know whether this is just because it's the first time I've been reasonably active in a while and I'm just not used to it, or because I was tired before hand, or maybe I don't drink enough and I get dehydrated. Or maybe it's all a result of the worry as explained above.
Any thoughts and encouragement would be greatly appreciated. I know from reading Heathers book the huge benefits so I really want to carry on with it, I hope it gets better
