As far as work and disability is concerned, here in the U.S. the Social Security Admin. does not consider IbS disabling but becuase our disease is functional disorder, which totally alters your lifestyle and ADLs and can stop one from working, i suggest that a good lawyer can guide you from this point.
My question is:
1) can heavy lifting and straining aggravate IBS
2)Does IBS get worse on its own( as a detiorating physical disease) or does one have to be affected by outside stressors(IE food, exercise, anxiety)
