I'm 17, 5'1", 125. I've known about my IBS for almost a year now, and I've changed my diet since November. Almost a year ago I ended up losing 30 lbs becaue I became deathly ill, I gained 10 of it back and felt really confident about my body. Now, since changing my diet, my caloric intake has gone up,( and I really dont require a lot of calories, as a petite high school student, there isnt't much opportunity for as much activity as i would like during the day), and I've gained more weight. Prom is coming up, and my birthday is next week, I would love to get to 117, from 125 before prom, and at least have my appetite under control by my birthday. I used to eat cereal and milk, spinich, and whole grains everyday, and now i just find i'm hungry all the time. Drinking water hasnt helped much, I still end up starving by the time a meal rolls around.

Any advice?? Is it safe to go back to whole grains? I only switched my diet after I began experiencing constipation for over a week, and a ton of pain. Anything will help. Thanks a bunch!
