Muchas gracias, jaime! (Just woke up from my nap-a-thon and was having a very creepy REM cycle about tuna, ironically. Someone was using a watering can, i.e. for flowers, and pouring it over the can/soaking it. ) I'll try rinsing it! Poached/steamed fish tastes decadent, probably because I rinse it. I find, also, that using just plain veg. stock is a wonderful dressing/flavour enhancer. Ditto for seasoned or plain rice vinegar. Lol, give the fish a bath!

Incidentally, the technique you mentioned works wonderfully for onions. Soaking or steaming/boiling for a few minutes takes the sting away.
