I went to see my dietitian today. Not a good day to step on the scale-I'm due for A.F. any minute now-I'm already spotting. Anyhow, she said that I can keep doing what I'm doing with my diet, but that I have to HAVE to get going on the exercise! I know I know!! I SO do! I dn't know my excuse other than sheer exhaustion lately. I have purposefully attempted to do Something phsyical every day, if it's cleaning out the basement, gardening or walking.
But she says I need a routine. i so do. Subbing is so unpredictable, as is DH's work schedule, as is Kayleigh's sleep schedule. i can't coordinate anything. I think my plan is for this summer:
Get up at 9:30. Do a Pilates workout(till 10). Have a breather for ME(till 10:30 -they usually wake up.) Mommy gogogogogogogogogo(till 11 PM) Sleep.
hopefully setting a routine, setting a schedule for it and FORCING myself to stick to it will work.
This lady wants me to come back to her every 2 weeks(well, next meeting is July 30th because she has a ton of holidays) so that I can be accountable to her. Not feel guilty or indebted to her, but accountable.
So now I have that push to do something about it. She said my diet is looking good but I ahven't lost a pound-in fact, i gained a couple due to some bad C and bloat...but it's $10 a visit, till she thinks I can do it alone. I think I really need that. I'm journalling again, which I really missed, because I'm a writer at heart, all the way. I think having somewhere to just express will really help. Plus, I'll keep up with Fitday and stay accountable to you guys, and that will help me with day-to-day. I will log in how much exercise I got every day.Today might not happen-it's pouring rain and we have company coming.
Anyhow, now you know EXACTLY where I'm at, and I pray that you can keep supporting me in the awesome way you all are. I'm so thankful for all of you.
