Hi Justin,

I personally find that I feel better eating higher protein since I started eating so low fat (10-15%). While I do love my carbs, it can just be too much sometimes - like you get those sharp peaks and drops in energy and it can be kind of exhausting. The energy from protein lasts longer. That's what I find anyway. So about 20-30% of my calories come from protein each day (I also exercise quite a bit though), 10-15% from fat, and the rest (usually around 60%) from carbs.

That said, I'm not a complete vegetarian or vegan (would be if not for egg whites and salmon ) and I do eat a lot of soy, so I don't have too much trouble getting protein in.
