Belinda,

You are SO right that controlling IBS is not easy and takes a major effort! During the 6 months before I recommitted to Heather's diet seriously, I was having D attacks an average of every 6 days and losing the next day of work or fun from being so sick.

Since I got serious again, I haven't had D once in over 7 months, and only some occasional mild pain and very slight bloating. You are so right that it takes a lot of discipline and effort and keeping a food diary and everything else. You're also right on target when you say you have to really want to be well. If not, the person will just keep cheating until it gets so bad they'll do anything to get better.

Hear, hear!! You rock, Belinda!!
