I know what caused the flare up. It was 2 weeks ago tomorrow when I went to lunch at a friend's. She had me make pasta primavera and I took out a plate for me and added cream and cheese to the rest. She accidentally put dressing on all the salad but I thought she didn't have too much oil. She also made fabulous bruschetta and it was probably too oily. I was gassy afterward and took a nap. The next day I wanted my hub to eat the leftover pasta but he didn't want it and I wasn't going anywhere so I ate some. Nothing horrible happened but ever since I have been more bloated, painful and upset. Today I am in a lot of pain! and I tried to cook some carrots for lunch real soft and they burned and I just need comfort food, hugs and a good romantic movie.

IBS-A for 20 years with terrible bloating and gas. On the diet since April 2004. Remember this from Heather's information pages:
"You absolutely must eat insoluble fiber foods, and as much as safely possible, but within the IBS dietary guidelines. Treat insoluble fiber foods with suitable caution, and you'll be able to enjoy a wide variety of them, in very healthy quantities, without problem." Please eat IF foods!
