What can I say but "I love antidepressants!!". I know that stress plays a huge part in my IBS and since I have been signed off work and started the medication I have been able to introduce a few more foods. After a year of feeling sick on rice and fish this is fantastic. I've eaten marmite, digestive biscuits (had to cut out wheat before), soya ice cream (previously lethal), a few maltesers (half of one gave me cramps all night once), tomatoes, and last night I ate a tiny slice of PIZZA!!!!! I have to say it tasted amazing.

And I feel fine ... it just feels normal to eat. I'm still mainly sticking to Heathers diet as I don't want to push things too far and get sick, but frankly it's a brilliant feeling. This is from the girl who was having all night panic attacks if she ate a tiny bit of cocoa powder!

I know this won't work for most people, but I think over the last year, although my stomach has healed, my mind has just become really scared of food. That seems to have gone - partially because I don't have to worry about being ill at work.

Now if I could just learn to sleep nd stop having these stupid anxiety attacks....

You are all brilliant and have given me so much support over that last year so THANK YOU SO MUCH!!

Love Catherine
