I don't take Imodium every morning as a regular thing, but I do that with Gax-X. For me, it works fine taking an Imodium before a dinner out, or with an NSAID like Aleve, or when I'm feeling iffy. So let your body tell you. If you're okay taking it only before a dinner or day out, then there's no need to take it every day.
