Hi from "downunder" - I am trying to find my way round the whole IBS problem - awaiting a 2nd colonoscopy and gastroscopy looking for something called microscopic colitis (whatever that is!)I found a book in my local library by a British writer Carol Sinclair suggesting that some starches cause IBS pain etc. Does anyone know or tried her suggested starch-free diet? What's it all about? Grateful for any help. I have tried Heather's diet and pleased initially to lose 6 kilos (about 13 lbs) but it's going back on as I eat more white bread, muffins etc. I found in the past that low-carb brought the weight off, but my diarrhea got much worse. Help!!!
