Hi everyone Im new to this ibs board and just wondering if anyone knows if a food is safe if it says it contains a milk protein eg whey or casein or has lactose in it even when its low fat and full of soluble fiber?? I live in the uk you see and the other day I bought a packet of caramel flavoured rice cakes but on the back it said contains a milk protein and lactose...does this mean I should avoid it just because of this or not??
