newly diagnosed, but I second this advice, because its how I have been able to function for years... when I worked the 5 AM shift I ate breakfast on my frist break- would get up and come to work without eating anything.. if I eat first thing I always get sicker then if I don't... since diagnosis and starting the diet- I've been getting up, reading, taking a relaxing bath, then going down and making a cup of lukewarm mint tea with my SFS in it and waiting another little while before I eat. Seems to work, much better then the alternatives so far.
