I hope you are better soon- have you talked to your doctor about how out of control this is and maybe about getting a medical excuse note for work until you are more in control? I got one yesterday because I have a job where I have stats of being available or on the phone to maintain to keep the job and there are days when my stats go throught eh floor and it kept me from making the $$ I should have been at the last evaluation, so they are getting a medical note. according to my direct supervisor that will be enough to make that statistic no longer count for me as long as they dont' catch me abusing the privelege- in other words going and doing other things when I should be in the bathroom or on the phones except on my scheduled breaks and lunches (I do telephone support, so I have to be there for the customers).

Anyway- a note will mean they have to be understanding under FMLA.. and if you come in, and spend the entire day in the bathroom once basically, it may make them also understand why you aren't racing to come in on those days...
