Have you read through some of the sticky notes at the top of this forum? Heather explains a lot of this. In short: unless you have celiac (are celiac?), wheat is not a trigger. White wheat products - that is, wheat products where the bran has been removed like white bread - have loads of soluble fiber and are good IBS friends.

If you notice that white bread (good, fresh baked stuff without preservatives or milk products) makes you feel bad and something like white rice (also a good source of soluble fiber) does not, you should get tested to see whether you have celiac.
