Irritable Bowel Syndrome Message Boards

No, he's a jerk, he's not willing to admit me. But I see my regular doctor tomorrow who may decide to do it anyways. I don't if I mentioned it in my previous post, but I was just informed I have a kidney infection, so that combined with my lack of foods, blood work being screwy and everything I don't think I'll be able to handle the prep at home. So, hopefully my doctor will be nicer and think about admitting me the night before so they can give me IV electrolytes while I do the prep, if not I don't know what I"m going to do. I assume the prep will further strain my kidneys, as will not being allowed to eat or drink for 12 hours beforehand. Grrr...this is so frustrating, and of course I'm getting scared

I know I'll get through this, is just very bothersome right now. And to add to everything, I woke up this morning with my period, even though I take continuous cycle birth control pills and have not missed any, so I should not be having a period, so the doctor needs to see me for that now too...I'm falling apart at the seams.

The test is scheduled for Tuesday (at least he's doing things quickly) with a follow-up set for Thursday (with the GI this time).
