For those following my IVF progress..

Thank you all so much for your interest, support and concern even though this is not an IBS topic (though it has wreaked havoc with it!)

Just to let you know, I had my egg pick up operation On Monday and we got 8 eggs which was more than we were expecting so we were happy.

I was and still am pretty sore after all that but am happy to do it.

Five out of our 8 eggs fertilised successfully and are now healthy devloping embryos.

Tomorrow two embryos will be transferred back and we will freeze the other 3 as long as our scientist is happy that they will survive the freezing/thawing process.

Thanks again for your support and I'll let you know how it turns out when we have come to terms with it ourselves (good or bad).
