Hi Everyone
Have a question that continues to baffle me. I'm IBS-D and my problems occur within the 1st couple of hours of getting up in the am. I can feel perfectly fine going to bed, sleep well, and then bam! When I get up, the spasms come. That's the usual time I have had my daily BM forever and so my colon is used to getting it's workout at that time. But I've noticed so many others say that the 1st thing in the mornings are tough. I have lots of nausea and and it seems that my 1st bm is ok, but then it's like my colon starts to tick and decide it's going to kick in to overdrive and just keep on ticking. Bevrs had suggested eating something before bed and maybe even during the night, so that the tummy doesn't get so empty. I've tried that and although I'm still doing it, it hasn't really helped. Any suggestions?
