That's when my Dh told me to talk to my doctor because normally a person's body doesn't react to THAT meal that fast. But with IBS that's our problem...our GI tract (I think it is) works overtime and causes the trouble. Also - I found that Dicetel would speed up this problem even worse. So maybe check the meds (If you are on any) to see if that makes it better to be off of them. And- as Bev said, watch portion sizes. I eat off a saucer all the time. That helps me watch my portions. Also I only have a handful of something for me snacks instead of a bowl. Keep my portions in control.
