Re: Very bad week (long post) UPDATE       07/22/04 03:14 PM Edit Reply Quote Sara-Sage Reged: 02/04/04 Posts: 5508 Well I just came back from my doctor's and it is my IBS that's acting up. He told me to up my fibre to twice a day. I also have a prescription for Modulon but I've posted elsewhere about that. I asked him how he would raete my IBS severity and he said moderate. That's kinda sad as before 6 months ago it was almost non-existant. He also told me that he would write me a letter to have some time (a week) off if needed but that it shouldn't come to that. I also asked him about anti-anxiety pills and he said that could be the next move if the Modulon and increased fibre don't help. I must say that he is a very calm person and I always leave feeling like he's on my side and will help me get better. My previous doctor always reacted strongly and got me all woriied that I was getting so bad. And that's when I barely had ANY symptoms, if he could see me now.
