Your poor daughter. I'm so glad you're going to get her to see a gastro (I just read your replies to the others). 20 years ago, that could have been me. The difference is that my mother took me a pediatrician once, he said I had the flu, she took me home, and that was the end of it. Since I wasn't taken seriously, I didn't complain again until I was 17 (and that doctor didn't take me seriously either). I don't blame my mother for any of this at all, but my childhood and teenage years could have been a lot more pleasant if I'd gotten the medical attention I needed, you know? Your daughter has a huge advantage on her side - she has *you*. Good luck with the gastro!
