medicine vs. herbs, etc.       07/19/04 07:20 PM Edit Reply Quote whatever10303 Reged: 07/19/04 Posts: 15 Loc: PA, USA I have been diagnosed with IBS-D, GERD, gastritis and IVS(ileocecal valve syndrome). In the dr.'s words, he has "thrown the book at me medically with tests and medications". This seems so extreme to me; to be 35 years old and taking soooooo much medicine. Do many of you find that once you have found the right herbs, diets and strategies that you can wean from the meds? Or do you always take the meds and then just add on with your own lifestyle changes? -------------------- The desire accomplished is sweet to the soul.
