But when I went on vacation a couple of weeks ago I expected to go my usual time in the morning and found that I couldn't. Even before I was diagnosed with IBS, I found that every time I go away, I can't go for the first couple of days, then after that, I do. I think it is just being uncomfortable because you are not in your own bathroom. I know that's my problem. I wind up unconscientiously tightening up an therfore holding back. After a couple of days, I have to go. I also found that having to go when you are staying with family you are not used to being around makes it harder to go then if you were staying in a hotel with more privacy.
