Most people would not be cheerful about heading a post with that title but I'm ecstatic.

All of the wishes and prayers you all sent me must have worked because the follicles did mature. Although it's not as many as we would have liked at least it's something.

I am going into hospital on Monday for the egg pick up operation and will back in on Wednesday for the Embryo transfer.

I am just so grateful to have this opportunity, especially after our last "disappointment" (doesn't seem a strong enough word does it).

My poor tummy has really sufferred throughout this. Not only is it really bloated and gassy from the IBS being all upset (i think I can blame all the hormonal drugs for this) but it's also so tender and sore. I'm even walking carefully and can't bear to touch it or sleep on it. Apparently this is normal due to the ovaries being hideously swollen.

Anyway, thanks so much everyone for all your support. It means the world to me.
