yes to the undigested food, yes to the changes in color (that is the impact of fiber in my personal experience, though what i eat color-wise can impact it, too).


as for the goat's milk, do a Search- i think i remember Heather writing about this maybe.... 5 months ago? i believe she said that the enzymes in all milks that come from mammals can be GI irritants.

i know you say you tolerate cow's milk ok, but keep in mind it is a known GI irritant. i always advise people to give it up totally while they're trying to stabilize. one stable, see if it can be added back in without the symptoms returning.

remember, just because you think you can tolerate it doesn't mean you can! every little thing you do adds up in the day. the milk may be something that on it's own wouldn't be a problem but when added to other things is an issue. i can't tolerate it when in an IBS flare, but otherwise i do ok with small amounts of things like ice cream etc... i had to quit it all for months, though, while i stabilized.
