I happen to be one of the very few here that do not use soy, at all, in anything.........if I can help it. I'm not sure to what extent the estrogenic affects are but I know they are there. I happen to have to avoid soy all together because of the affect on hypothyroidism as it is a goitrogenic. To bad, because there are some great tasting products out there. I use rice or oat or almond beverages and Rice dream ice cream. There is also rice cheese subs. There is no sub for tofu so I avoid it. Here is a tread that was started many months ago. Annie, as you cut back on soy, if you still notice the tenderness try some OTC progesterone cream. I've used Pro-gest in the past with great success for the same complaint as you have. BTW, I happen to agree with your nutritionist, but then I'm likely one of the only ones on the board that would. (Thank goodness for free speech)
