(Don't tell LS; I want her to think I'm still a lush.) I remember once being real strict about my diet. I'd go to social events and order water on the rocks; everyone thought I was drinking "stollie on the rocks," and I let them think it. I felt SOOOO virtuous and I recall telling myself as I was drinking my "stollie": "I'm losing weight and feeling great! I'm losing weight and feeling great!" It worked. I lost a ton. Alicia, you're right; it's really not worth it. What's the point? If you know you're gonna suffer, how can you really enjoy it? I also feel that, if your body doesn't like something you're putting in it, and it tells you so in no uncertain terms, then it's time to go without it.
