I found some Rice Dream Heartwise Rice Drink in Safeway in San Francisco. The ingredients are: Filtered water, brown rice (partially milled), Gum arabic, Expeller pressed high oleic safflower oil, Tricalcium phospate corowiseTM Phytosterol Esters, Sea Salt, Vitamin A palmitate, Vitamin D2, Vitamin B12. Has anyone tried this, is it safe to drink?
If anyone has tried it, what cereals do you use with it? I really hope this is IBS friendly, as I am getting concerend about my calcium intake. I am IBS-A. I take Heathers Peppermint capsules 3x per day and drink perpermint and chamomile tea with every meal and a calcium supplement as well as Citricel (two tablets 2x daily). My GI doc gave me some Miralax to insure at least one movement per day, but I still get bloated and gasey (not as much as before though, thank God). I also eat apples, peeled of course, peaches and seedless grapes. I have not had a problem with these fruits. My doc also has me on Lexapro for colon spasms.
Since I am at menopausal age, I am coming off the HRT (doctor's advise), vitamins are Centrum silver, extra E (400IU),B12 (500MCG) per day and B Complex with C.
I work out six days per week (upper and lower body 2 x per week each) I dropped the cardio to 3 x per week, as I am losing too much weight.
Please tell me that this Rice Dream drink is not a "dream." I also saw some Soy Dream drink there. The ingredients are: Filtered water, organic whole soybeans, rice syrup, tricalcicum phospate, sea salt, Vitamin A palmitate, Vitamin D2,Vitamin E, and Vitamin B12.
Has anyone found sorbet in the local grocery stores without any milk in it? I bought some from Safeway only to find out that there was a small amount of milk in it. Believe me, I paid the price for that small amount of milk!
Need help regarding this Soy and Rice Milk/Drink.
The Whole Food Store where I can purchase these items without worry is just not in the budget at this time.
HELP!!!!!!!!
Thanks,
Lene
