I think I remember reading somewhere that there is a link with seretonin (sp?) levels in the brain and IBS. Has anyone else heard this. I know that when I was on Zoloft for Depression (am no longer on it) it helped with seretonin levels. I also read that exercise increases seretonin levels and I feel better and and have fewer IBS attacks when I am on a regular walking schedule. I recently started walking a mile every lunch hour and sometimes my husband and I will walk three miles after work. Since I've started this schedule, I have only had to take 2 Imodium in the past month! That includes all the stress I am under right now.
