I don't know if all areas of the world have fairs like ours in Minnesota; everything is deep fried and put on a stick for some reason. Any ideas what to do at a fair for safe eats? Here is a link of the fair, click on food, if you are curious about what the choices are at my local fair. Most are hilarious- deep-fried oreos, twinkies and chocolate chip cookies! http://www.tasteofmn.org/
Another problem is how to avoid things that I really like that I shouldn't eat. Fried food holds no appeal, but has anyone had a smoked turkey drumstick?! They are quite good and if it is hot I might be tempted by ice cream!

IBS-A for 20 years with terrible bloating and gas. On the diet since April 2004. Remember this from Heather's information pages:
"You absolutely must eat insoluble fiber foods, and as much as safely possible, but within the IBS dietary guidelines. Treat insoluble fiber foods with suitable caution, and you'll be able to enjoy a wide variety of them, in very healthy quantities, without problem." Please eat IF foods!
