I put Heather's name in the subject line cause I know she is an expert in ethnic foods... What is Filipino food? Are there things there that are IBS safe? What are the main triggers in thier food to look out for? I just noticed there is a little restaurant by me. I am becoming very interested in ethnic foods, but still trying to get the guts to try them. So far, I have been eating Asian style stir frys (I know, not too exciting), and dumplings and such at home. And now for an Indian question- I am also hoping to break into Indian soon, I know I posted about restaurants awhile ago, but is there any easy to find Indian seasoning that I could get at the regular grocery store? I got a Tandoori marinade from Trader Joes last night, but later found it had yogurt in it. Good thing I at least checked before eating it, but kinda upset I wasted the $. Any ideas? (Preferrably something simple, want to see if I like the stuff before I start cooking form scratch). Oh, it may help to know that I am trying to season chicken. Another on my list is Thai, but I think I have those details squared away, it has been dealt with in previous posts I have found. thanks! (and sorry if anyone finds the post drawn out) -Sheri
