Hi Sara, It's good that you will see a doctor, but I'm sure 2 months feels like a long ways from now. Right now I'm at a point where I really only get D if I eat trigger foods (lots of foods are triggers, so I usually end up with it about once a week, but that's not too bad, I think) I remember a time when I thought I may never have another normal BM in my life and trying to remember what "normal" actually looked and felt like! For me, the key was diet. Have you tried stripping down the diet completely, even for just a little while to try and start to get stable? There have been times that I've had to work myself backwards if my stomuch gets too much in a frenzy. For about 3 - 4 days I will eat nothing but white rice, white toast, clear broths, lightly seasoned barley, apple sauce and potatoes and drink nothing but room temp. water. After a few days this gets me centered a bit and I can slowly start adding other things back into my diet. You might have to break down everything before adding things back in, even things that normally would be safe. Just a thought. Also, teas are very nice! Good luck with the doc, once that comes around. Min
