AtomicRose       06/07/04 08:42 PM Edit Reply Quote Unregistered You think you have waited long for moose let me tell you i've been living on Vancouver Island in a small town where everyone knows everyone or knows at least the people you know. We don't even really have a shopping mall and most people have no idea where the town is. We have to drive down island 1 1/2 - 2 hours to get to the big city. I have moved to this tiny little town from Vancouver 4 years ago and finally saw my first bear last week! I've lived in some places here where I have deer living in my front yard and have them walking on some of the main street and have lots of people tell me they see bears and that they have seen them in their back yards and crossing the streets! It's taken me 4 years and I have to say it's about freaking time. (I think I need to get some sugar in me). I thought I would tell you i'm in the same boat as you about the rude nonshowing wildlife!
